Today, she’s a go-to partner for dental practice leadership, culture, and integration, combining the science of leadership with the structure of operations and the psychology of change—delivered with the right mix of candor, humor, and heart.

AlignCore Leadership is Lisa’s next evolution: a name change that reflects the deep, strategic work she’s been doing all along under her former company, Ascendant Dental Development. The firm focuses on helping new practice owners, buyers, brokers, lenders, and multi-site groups align ownership, team, systems, and culture from Day 0 forward. When those elements move in the same direction, EBITDA, access, and patient experience all improve—and the people inside the practice actually want to stay.

Lisa’s approach is grounded, honest, and unshakably supportive. She’s a straight-talker, yes—but also deeply empathetic. Whether a client shows up excited about a new acquisition or exhausted by turnover and drama, she meets them exactly where they are and walks with them the rest of the way. She knows how to de-escalate chaos, rebuild trust, and guide people forward with steadiness, perspective, and zero judgment.

Based near Chicago and working with clients across the U.S., Lisa partners with dental practices at every stage of ownership—pre-acquisition, post-transition, and long after the ink is dry—to build leadership capacity, strengthen teams, and create workplaces that actually work.

Outside of work, Lisa is the kind of person who teaches herself to bake a Mardi Gras King Cake for fun (this one is her fave to purchase in New Orleans!), smokes a mean brisket, attempts gardening (but doesn’t always win), and dreams of lavender backyard chickens. Dogs, kids, power tools, big ideas—she juggles it all with humor and humility. And when it comes to helping others lead? She doesn’t just coach. She shows up, does the work alongside you, and helps you rise—without burning out in the process.
